I’m Jessamyn Stanley, and I’m a yoga teacher, body positive advocate and writer. My teaching style provides a body positive approach to yoga which celebrates students’ bodies and encourages them to ask “How Do I Feel?’ rather than “How Do I Look?” when practicing yoga. My classes incorporate high energy vinyasa flow as a way to move past mental and emotional barriers. I studied with Stephanie Keach and Kimberley Puryear at Asheville Yoga Center, and my eponymous yoga lifestyle blog and instagram offer tips and advice for other yoga practitioners while documenting my personal home yoga practice..
